Opening offer

Please take the first arrivals.

Mira — please take the coffee table during the first arrivals. There are eight of us, including the two of us. Regular and decaf are already brewed: 1,000 mL regular and 500 mL decaf. I checked the contents before putting out the full matching names. Neither has milk or sugar added.

Keep each card with its drink. The menu offers regular, decaf, labelled packet tea and water. Please send tea requests to me for hot water. Milk and oat drink are in their original containers in the fridge; ask me for either, and keep ingredient packages available to read.

There are ten clean cups, eight water glasses, sweetener packets and clean stirrers. Keep the clean supply stocked and used cups in their separate place. Watch for an empty container and tell me when a choice finishes.

If regular finishes, remove its empty carafe, put the R FINISHED tent in that place and cover only the regular row on the menu. Keep decaf with its D card. I will decide whether to brew again; please do not promise a refill time. Restore the ready sign only after I confirm a fresh regular batch is available.

If you need to leave the table, tell me so we can agree who takes over. — Jun

The matching table papers

One three-page pack, all marked for this same example.

Use page 1 for the ready menu and page 2 for the four drink tents. Keep page 3 nearby: it contains the regular-finished tent and the matching menu strip.

Sending your own sample invitation?

This complete fictional invitation text describes the opening menu and explains that the table’s current signs take precedence. From your own sender, you can send a deliberately fictional copy to an inbox you control and look at its wrapping and attachment. CleanTempMail is an optional receive-only inbox for that nonsensitive test; an ordinary inbox works too. Do not include real guest details, dietary information, addresses or private links. It does not send the message or establish that your guests received it.
